Cookie policy
Which cookies and similar technologies this site uses, and the position on analytics.
Last updated 28 August 2026.
This policy is maintained by the site owner and will be professionally reviewed as the business grows; it is written to be accurate now, not aspirational.
At the time of writing this site sets no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. Page views are counted two ways, neither of which identifies anyone. First, by this site’s own servers: each page view adds one to an aggregate daily counter for the page, the referring website and the visitor’s country — whole numbers per day, with no IP address, no device details and no visitor identifier stored, and browsers that send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal are not counted at all. Second, by the hosting provider’s cookieless measurement (Vercel): a script served from this site’s own domain reports the page visited, and the provider tells visits apart with a hash of the incoming request that it discards within 24 hours. The site also uses the browser’s own storage for a few strictly functional jobs: remembering what is in your basket, remembering a referral code for thirty days if you arrived through a partner’s link so its discount can apply when you order, remembering your answer to the 18+ confirmation so it is not asked on every visit, and remembering for the rest of a visit that you dismissed the WhatsApp button — all of it stays on your device, identifies nobody, and is never read by anyone else. Beyond that, nothing is stored on or read from the reader’s device — no cookie, no lasting identifier — so no consent banner is presented: a banner that asks for consent to nothing is a poorer experience, not a better one. What the analytics processes is listed in the privacy policy.
The WhatsApp button
The site offers a WhatsApp enquiry button. It is an ordinary link: pressing it opens a conversation in the reader’s own WhatsApp app, and nothing from WhatsApp loads on this site — no script, no cookie, no tracking pixel. Anything a reader sends there is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms, exactly as any other WhatsApp conversation is. Dismissing the button is remembered for the rest of the visit and nothing more.
If this changes
Cookie-based analytics, embedded media or any third-party tracking script would change this position and would require a compliant consent mechanism to be implemented before deployment, not afterwards. The cookieless measurement above was chosen in August 2026 precisely so that no such mechanism is needed.
